First American HQ
560,000 sq. ft. headquarters campus for First American Financial, Title and Trust Companies including 75,000 sq. ft. seismically “base-isolated” data center. Required remediation of heavily contaminated site and negotiation of 20-year development agreement with City of Santa Ana. Owner desired a colonial building architecture which the team accomplished by selectively incorporating a Monticello and University of Virginia library inspired design, but only for 10% of overall building square footage. This created the desired look and feel while still maintaining an integrity of design fitting for a corporate headquarters.
